Niger: New Graduates in Results-Based Management of Public Programs
How to manage the effective transformation of state-invested resources into services to the population and into infrastructure generating sustainable socio-economic impacts?
Results-based management of public programs drives the technical assistance provided in Niger by IDEA, mandated by the PCDS*.
It is in this context that on September 27, 2019, the 3rd cohort successfully completed the Masters Certificate Program in Results-Based Management of Public Programs.
With the coaching of experts Jimmy Bankamwabo, M.Sc (Public Management) and Mrs. Laouan Brem Adiza Chouchoum, M.Sc (Public Finance – Health Sector), Directors and Division Heads from central and sectoral ministries followed the 3 modules of the certification, namely:
(i) strategic planning and results framework;
(ii) operational planning and program monitoring and evaluation; and
(iii) leadership and strategic change management.
In view of the program’s success, new training sessions will be organized in 2020 by IDEA’s technical assistance to Niger, under the direction of Mounir Dabbabi, M.Sc.
